What are eSIMs?

eSIMs for thousands of IoT devices via one QR code

This solution is suitable for large IoT deployments where thousands of devices can be activated with one generic string/QR code. During deployment, our system determines what the next SIM card in the line is, so each device is assigned its own eSIM. This simplifies deployment as it is possible to put the same eSIM configuration into all your devices at once. Furthermore, it also makes administration easier later on.

Use case: Smartwatches with fall detection alarms for elderly people where eSIMs are installed on the watches. With a generic eSIM solution, the administration can easily activate the devices without keeping track of unique QR codes for each device.
